How to Install lbzip2 software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

lbzip2 software package provides fast, multi-threaded bzip2 utility, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lbzip2

lbzip2 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lbzip2 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lbzip2 *
